About – MazeTrackStudio
Who I Am
Hi, I’m Marcin — welcome to MazeTrackStudio.
My musical journey began between 1998 and 2002, when as a high-school student I bought my first acoustic guitar from a classmate. I started learning simple chords on my own, and before long I was playing songs by Perfect, Lady Pank, Metallica, and Guns N’ Roses. I often brought my guitar to school, and during breaks my friends and I played small acoustic mini-concerts. That’s when music truly became a part of my life.
Early Bands and Stage Experience
After graduating, I joined a band called Świerszcze, formed by friends of my girlfriend at the time. We played Polish and international covers — Scorpions, Wilki, Łzy, Lady Pank and more — and performed several local shows.
In 2008, I joined another band led by my cousin, Andrzej Załucki (now creating music as Labirynth). We had a rehearsal space in Warsaw’s Praga district, where we regularly practiced covers by Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Scorpions, and Guns N’ Roses. Although we never performed live, it was a valuable period of growth and collaboration.
Musical Education and Personal Development
Around the same time, I studied at the Krzysztof Komeda School of Contemporary Music and Jazz. Unfortunately, after two years I had to leave due to health reasons, but the experience — including several school concerts in Warsaw clubs — remains an important and inspiring part of my musical path.
Home Studio Beginnings
Between 2008 and 2010, I began experimenting with home recording. Using Cubase, a CME UF80 keyboard, and an Epiphone LP100 with a Behringer V-Amp, I created my first original tracks. By 2012, I had recorded several pieces that are still available on my website and YouTube channel.
After that came a long break — from 2012 all the way to 2019.
Returning to Music
In 2020, I returned to writing and producing music with a fresh mindset. I started composing relaxing and atmospheric tracks, improving my mixing and mastering skills, and offering small freelance audio services.
I have been living in the UK for over a decade now. This is where I work, create, and continue developing MazeTrack Studio — a place where passion, experience, and modern technology come together.
